Family Wealth Preservation: A Values
Approach to Estate Planning
Can
you help us plan our estate in ways that reflect our values?
This request was made to us recently and we replied
emphatically “Yes”. We
often work with families – helping them identify their values
about wealth, create a plan to teach their children these values and
work with their estate planner to assure that their estate plan is
in alignment with their values.
How important is it? Let’s
put it this way – in a major research study of
the transfer of wealth from one generation to the other –
they found that in 70% of the cases – the wealth became diluted
quickly and without lasting value.
It
is a critical issue.
We
encourage you to contact us about helping your family meet this
challenge positively and creatively.
